For example January, February, etc. We also have a special promotion offering 1 free testing unit for R547, an industrial motherboard for the telecommunications market. This motherboard is specially designed for voice mail servers. However, if you decide to return this motherboard, it must be sent back and received by us within a two-week period of time and be returned in good working condition. Also the original packaging must be complete and in good condition for resale, otherwise we will charge you for the motherboard.

Q. Does 1STP motherboards support the Intel PIII?
A. Yes, all "Slot 1" 1STP motherboards that use either the Intel BX chipset and the VIA Slot 1 chipsets support the PIII.

Q. Does 1STP motherboards support the Celeron II?
A. Yes, the 6VIA81P, 6VIA85P, 6VIA96A, 6VIA90A, and 6VIA89A all support the Celeron II. However the 6VIA81P requires a FC-PGA converter card.

Q. Does 1STP motherboards support the Coppermine?
A. Yes, the 6VIA81P, 6VIA85P, 6VIA96A, 6VIA90A, and 6VIA89A all support the Coppermine.

Q. Does 1STP motherboards support AMD "CXT" K6-2 and K6-3?
A. Yes, all the Super Socket 7 1STP motherboards that use the Aladdin and VIA chipsets support the "CXT" K6-2 and K6-3.

Q. Does 1STP motherboards support AGP 4X?
A. Yes, the 6VIA96A, 6VIA90A, and 6VIA89A support the AGP 4X. They use the VIA694X chipset, which supports AGP 4X.

Q. Does 1STP motherboards support UDMA 66?
A. Yes, the 6VIA81P, 6VIA85P, 6VIA96A, 6VIA90A, 6VIA89A, and 5ALI61 (revision E) all support UDMA 66. UDMA 66 requires a 80pin IDE connector be used. The blue connector goes into the motherboard.

Q. How do I know if I have a "CXT" K6-2?
A. Look on the lower left hand corner of your CPU. Right under the silver plate that says AMD K6-2. If the number is 26050 then you have the older "Chomper" core. If it says 26351, then you have the new "CXT"or "Sharptooth" core.

Q. Why do I need to flash my BIOS?
A. As new features and compatibility fixes for your 1STP motherboard become available need to flash your BIOS to take advantage of them. A flash BIOS allows you to put new information into your computer.

Q. How do I flash my BIOS?
A. Download "Awardflash" and the correct bios image from the drivers/bios menu. Make a clean bootup disk by formatting a floppy disk with the "format a: /s" command. Unzip the bios image and awardflash to the floppy disk you just created. Bootup with your newbootup disk.

Q. Does my 1STP LX motherboard work with the Intel "Celeron"?
A. Yes, it does. But on some older motherboards you need to flash the BIOS in order for the motherboard torecognize the Intel "Celeron."

Q. What is Socket 370 and is it the same as Socket 7?
A. No, Socket 370 is not the same as Socket 7. They are the same size, but have a different number of pins. Socket 370 is Intel's new format for the "Celeron." Your Socket 370 motherboard will not support a Socket 7 CPU and vise versa.

Q. What does the Turbo Jumper on my 1STP BX81 and BX81S motherboard do?
A. The turbo jumper allows you to manual select the bus speed for your motherboard between 66Mhz and 100Mhz.

Q. What does the 133Mhz jumper on my 1STP 6VIA81P do?
A. The 133Mhz jumper forces the CPU to run at 133Mhz FSB.

Q. Where do I get the latest AGP drivers for my Socket 7 motherboard?
A. The latest AGP drivers are available for download at the bios / drivers page or directly from VIA or ALi depending on your motherboard chipset.
